We're Howard's Meat Co. - a family run barbecue pop-up restaurant company based in East London. Currently we're embarking on exciting new projects - We have a vintage horse trailer that's being converted into a permanent food truck at the awesome Netil Market in London Fields, as well as running residencies at breweries and craft beer bars.
WHY WORK WITH US?
-Having lived and worked with some of the best barbecue places in Austin, Texas, I've learned a load about smoking meats and I'd love to impart some knowledge. Currently we are one of the few places in the city using old school cookers fired with 100% oak . We also do our own curing pickling, curing and hopefully, baking.
-Our residencies and trailer are in great locations - If you like beer, you're going to love this job as we're partnering with Redchurch Brewery in Bethnal Green
-Work with a small upstart business; I want someone that wants to have a say what goes on the menu.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
-Professional cooking experience is NOT required - I'm looking for somebody that is willing to learn.
-Somebody who isn't afraid of working unusual hours (the pit runs 24 hours on weekends!)
-A self starter who can get stuff done without supervision.
-Great customer service.
- Holding a valid driver's licence a huge plus.
We are currently Open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
